REACH · TEACH · ENCOURAGE

Capital Kids exists to be a families’ greatest friend and strong partner in the spiritual development of their most precious blessings- their kids. Our aim is to equip and to reinforce the Biblical teachings being taught and modeled in the home. We long to see every child embracing a Biblical worldview and a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ and other believers. Capital Kids does this by emphasizing Biblical values that build individual character. The leaders at Capital Kids are trained to gauge where a child is at with their walk with God and to build from there. The ministry of Capital Kids is heavily reliant on the Holy Spirit, and we know that: while we plant the seeds, God is the one who makes them grow!

Some specific goals and lessons children are learning throughout the year:

Intellectual: Scripture memorization, biblical competency, connecting faith and social conditions, effective verbal communication of one’s beliefs in a clear and respectful manner.

Emotional: Encouragement, modeling of compassionate stewardship, empathy toward those going through hard times, passion for reaching the lost, genuine love of God and people, gratitude for God’s many blessings and awe at his majestic nature.

Spiritual: Inspired and frequent prayer, prayer that goes beyond personal needs, responsive worship, inviting people to Church, sharing their faith, finding ways to serve the poor and disadvantaged, serving at Church, praying for Kids in other countries and giving to the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge. Praying for missionaries.
